The cat's out the bag! Yep, Ora is GWM's dedicated electric brand, and did you ever hear such a cool car name as Ora Funky Cat? We certainly haven't, and this electric hatchback looks as cuddly as it sounds. Available in China since 2018, it's the first model from the firm to release in Europe and the UK. Sure, you could just plump for its better-known electric rivals like the Volkswagen ID 3, the Renault Zoe and the Nissan Leaf, but the Funky Cat offers something more 'out there'.

There's other versions on the way further down the line, but the 2022 First Edition features a 48kWh battery pack and a 169bhp electric motor, which Ora says has enough for a top speed of 99mph and a 0-62mph time of 8.3 seconds. On a full charge, it can cover an official range of 193 miles. Meanwhile, you'll get boot space of 228-litres, extending to 858-litres with the seats folded down. Those aren't bad stats, but just get used to the occasional raised eyebrow when you tell someone what it is you drive!
