The AMG GT is an impressive number from The German giant that certainly isn't failing to seriously worry its rivals. It's staring down the barrel of its gun at everything from a Nissan GT-R to a Bentley Continental GT and the AMG team is exceptionally confident about its accuracy of aim. Where the AMG GT could struggle, however, is in trying to be too many things to too many discerning motorists. If that's the only issue, though, then Mercedes will be delighted. This car isn't advertised as a being Mercedes-Benz, but rather it sports the 'Mercedes-AMG' badge, and we think this says a lot. This is a new-era, supercar-similar sports car and is, indeed, an exceptionally good one. It oozes class, luxury and practically unrivalled power, epitomising the definitive up-to-the-second roadster - what a charmer. They have also saved their finest tech for the AMG GT. The remarkable array of kit available in standard and models with specific trim specs includes USB and SD card connectivity as well as high-functioning COMAND infotainment system, Bluetooth functionality and Cruise Control.
There may only be two body styles but just feast your eyes on the range of trims:
