Whilst not technically an SUV, the fifth generation Subaru Outback still delivers on most of what that class of vehicle has to offer. As a ramped-up rugged estate car, the Outback gives you four-wheel drive and a great view of the road – all whilst handling any kind of terrain the world has to throw at it.
Unusually for an off-road estate car, there's no diesel option, but the 2.5-litre 175PS four-cylinder petrol engine is more than up to the task. And if you ever want a more SUV-like feel, pressing a button on the dashboard will activate the distinctive 'X-Mode' setup, assisting you with off-road duties by tweaking the vehicle's systems and adding in features like Hill Descent Control. Boot space stands at 561-litres, which is more than what's offered by the Audi A4 Allroad and the Volvo V60 Cross Country.
You can tailor your dream Subaru Outback for any budget by altering the contract length, initial monthly payments, annual mileage and vehicle availability. If you are looking to lease with no deposit, just set the "upfront" initial payment to one month!
