Founded by business mogul Kiichiro Toyoda back in 1937, Toyota has grown to become the world's largest car manufacturer as of 2022. Toyota also holds the record for being the first car manufacturer to be producing more than 10 million vehicles in a single year – a feat they achieved in 2012.
Essentially a hot-hatchback version of the standard Yaris, the Toyota GR Yaris makes things a little more interesting by throwing some sport and rallying pedigree into the mix. Very much geared towards high performance, it's really more of a roadworthy rally car than an everyday city car. After all, the GR in the name stands for 'Gazoo Racing', and rally driver Tommi Mäkinen (of Toyota's rallying team) had some influence on the design. As you'd expect, the GR Yaris is a shade more powerful than the standard version, with a power output of 257bhp and a max torque of 360Nm on its turbocharged 1.6-litre engine. The top speed is 143mph, and 0-62mph is achieved in just 5.5 seconds. However, boot space is down to 174-litres – less than the standard Yaris's 286-litres.
You can tailor your dream Toyota lease deal for any budget by altering the contract length, initial monthly payments, annual mileage and vehicle availability. If you are looking to lease with no deposit, just set the "upfront" initial payment to one month!
