XPENG Car Lease Deals

Watch out Tesla. Another Chinese electric car manufacturer on the roads, and this one ain't here just to make up the numbers. No siree, XPENG (pronounced 'ex-pung') claim to be going for the No.1 spot. Aiming for the sky.

Quite literally too, because XPENG Motors, or XPENG for short, showed off their X2 flying car at the company's Irish launch event in Dublin. And whilst you might not be able to lease that one anytime soon, it does represent the kind of ambition that has seen Chinese manufacturers shoot to the very top. (Just so you know, they do plan to have flying cars in mass production by 2026!)

But even if that technology's a little 'up in the air' for now, being an electric car manufacturer, XPENG still has plenty to entertain in the way of advanced tech in their quest to make smart electric cars. And by 'smart' they just mean vehicles with a lot of tech and AI-integrated features, not something out of Terminator.

Operating out of Guangzhou, they've so far launched only 1 of their models in the UK for you to get your hands on – the XPENG G6 electric SUV. Yet a quick look at the XPENG website will tell you that their Chinese customers have access to a much fuller range. That being said, expect to see more models from this manufacturer coming to our shores in the future, because as XPENG themselves would say: the only way is up.

FAQs about XPENG Car Leasing

Is XPENG a new manufacturer?

Not exactly. Although they might be fairly new to the UK, XPENG have been around on the continent for a little longer, and in their native China since 2014.

Do I own the car with a lease?

No, the leasing company/finance provider will be the ones who legally own the car. Which can be a good thing, because it means they're the ones who'll stomach the deprecation costs (how much value the vehicle has lost) once the deal is done.

How long will delivery take?

For in-stock XPENG vehicles, you'll normally receive the car within 2 to 4 weeks. Factory orders can take 2 to 4 months, as the vehicle is yet to be built. The upside is that you'll have a little more freedom to spec the car just how you want it, for example in terms of colour choice.
