Skywell BE11 Lease Deals

The sky's the limit.

Background

Yet another Chinese manufacturer that's jumped on the bandwagon and entered the electric vehicle market, Skywell was founded in 2010 by bus manufacturer Nanjing Golden Dragon and Skyworth, an industrial group.

The brand's logo features a central letter "W" in the shape of a shield – these stand for safety and quality. It's coloured blue as well, representing electric power.

Skywell Electric Vehicle Models

Skywell was co-founded by a bus manufacturer, so it's no surprise that that's exactly the kind of electric vehicle the manufacturer has been churning out – buses. Some vans and trucks as well, but you're not going to be seeing many of those on British roads.

However, in 2017 the Chinese manufacturer did branch out into making passenger vehicles, starting with the impressive Skywell BE11 SUV.

More recently, the brand has made an effort to integrate advanced technology into its vehicles to help perfect that seamless EV driving experience. This includes via voice controls, AI-based connectivity systems and vehicle-home integration.

Design

The BE11 combines a modern and sleek exterior design with practicality. It includes LED lighting, aerodynamic styling, adaptive cruise control and 19-inch alloy wheels. While its appearance is understated compared to some competitors, it aligns with contemporary EV aesthetics.

Market Position

The BE11 competes with vehicles like the Volkswagen ID.4 and Hyundai Ioniq 5, appealing to buyers seeking an affordable, spacious, and functional EV. However, its interior materials and infotainment systems have been critiqued as less refined compared to rivals
