Exterior and Interior
Mazda’s Kodo design language really shines on the Mazda 3, giving you a car with sweeping body lines, a low-slung profile and expressive LED headlights. Step inside and you're welcomed with a driver-focused environment with a horizontal layout, premium soft-touch trim, and available Nappa leather. Front seats are supportive and spacious, whilst rear legroom is more than passable for a hatchback. The saloon variant provides 450 litres of boot space, whilst the hatchback version still gives you a decent 350 litres worth.
Technology and Features
The Mazda 3 comes equipped with the Mazda Connect infotainment system, featuring a standard 8.8-inch screen (and available 10.3-inch touchscreen on higher trims) that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Voice control is upgraded with Alexa Built‑In on select trims, enabling hands‑free commands for climate settings, navigation, entertainment, and even smart‑home device integration. A head‑up display (Active Driving Display) projects key driving info including smartphone navigation prompts in the driver’s line of sight, helping to minimise distraction.
Putting Safety First
The Mazda 3 comes equipped with the i-Activsense safety suite, which includes Advanced Smart City Brake Support with pedestrian detection, automatically applying the brakes to help you avoid low-speed collisions. Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure Warning help the driver stay safely centred in their lane, while Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert increase awareness when changing lanes or reversing. Adaptive cruise control (Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go) maintains safe following distances and can bring the car to a full stop in traffic. Higher trims also feature a 360º View Monitor and Driver Attention Alert, which prompts rest breaks when fatigue is detected.
