Sooooooo, you’ve ordered your new lease car and have received confirmation that it’s on the way for delivery.
You’ve done your due diligence and taken care of all the important things.
Contract terms, annual mileage, how much the car costs to run. You name it.
But wait . . .
How much fuel is the car going to come with?
Glass Half Full
Are they going to be generous and give you a full tank, or is there some bloke in a shirt and tie telling trying to cut down on costs by giving customers as little fuel as possible?
Well, the answer is that your lease car is going to come with at least a quarter of a tank of fuel. Or if not a quarter, then enough to get you to your nearest petrol station.
However, this does vary across the board depending on who you lease with. So as a lease comparison site, we unfortunately don’t have the answer regarding how much fuel every single vehicle is going to come with.
That’s why we recommend that you confirm the exact amount with the relevant leasing partner before delivery.
Electric Avenue
Or if you’d rather not worry about fuel at all, then you could always go for an electric car?
You see, fuel is sort of going out of fashion, with the UK government ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars due to take effect in 2035. So this question might be redundant in a few years.
Diesel and petrol cars are slowly being phased out in favor of electric cars, which run on batteries. Meaning you don’t have to worry about fuel with an electric vehicle. It’s just a case of charge and go.
And what do you know? Here at LeaseLoco, we’ve got plenty of deals on electric vehicles.
