Dacia might seem like one of the new kids on the street, but it's actually been around since 1966. Now a subsidiary of Renault, the make is renowned for its no-nonsense, affordable motoring. Dacia's first seven-seater model, the Jogger borrows styling from the Sandero and is the successor to the Dacia Logan SUV. Although technically a compact MPV (multi-purpose van), it has the looks of an SUV and the elongated body of an estate. True to Dacia fashion, it's also criminally cheap – serving as an antidote to our increasingly expensive world. The Jogger is rivalled by the Skoda Kodiaq, the Citroën Berlingo and the Peugeot Rifter.

The Jogger's 1.0-litre petrol engine gets it from 0 to 62mph in just over 11 seconds, reaching a potential top speed of 114mph. Trims start out at the entry-level Essential variant before moving up to Comfort and peaking with Extreme SE. If you want to know about boot space, the standard 212-litres can be extended to 699-litres with the rear seats folded down. Remove them completely, fold the second row forward and you'll end up with a whopping 2,085-litres. Good news is that from 2023 there'll also be a hybrid version – Dacia's first-ever hybrid product, in fact. It's due to consist of a 1.6-litre petrol engine twinned with a 1.2kWh battery and a pair of electric motors, producing around 150hp altogether.
